BP (Blood Pressure) is a disease that everyone has heard of. Not only that, BP is a very common disease that every second person has suffered from. There was a time when the disease was only acquired by the elderly or senior citizens, but now kids or newly born children are also suffering from critical diseases.

The Government of India launched the Indian Hypertension Control Initiative (IHCI) to fast-track access to treatment services for over 220 million people in India who have hypertension. Only about 12% of people with hypertension in India have their blood pressure under control. There are so many people in India who are suffering from high blood pressure, but the way everyone is ignoring this robed hypertension and they are just going on in their lives might have a big impact on these patients' lives in the future.

As we already told you, these diseases are not only acquired by the elderly. Kids nowadays are suffering from this crucial disease, and you will be surprised after knowing the data that shows how many youths nowadays are suffering from this disease. 

The number of adults with hypertension increased from 594 million in 1975 to 1.13 billion in 2015, with the increase seen largely in low- and middle-income countries.

A huge number of patients only youth can be seen who are suffering from these diseases. The duration of 50 years has impacted a huge amount of youth in terms of disease.

How to control it without medication and prevention:

  • Reduce Salt: A recent report from the health concern department has said that large amounts of salt in our meals after cooking can lead to an earlier death than our normal life span. It also impacts our hypertension problem.
  • Quit smoking: On smoking, everyone suggests its bad impact on our health. Also, in some movies, while any actor consumes this, they make a disclaimer that it is injurious to our health. As well, it is more harmful and can lead to hypertension.
  • Limit Alcohol: Limiting alcohol to less than one drink a day for women or two drinks a day for men can help lower blood pressure by about 4 mm Hg. One drink equals 12 ounces of beer, 5 ounces of wine, or 1.5 ounces of 80-proof liquor. But drinking too much alcohol can raise blood pressure by several points. It can also reduce the effectiveness of blood pressure medications.
  • Good Night Sleep: If you get a good night's sleep, then it can reduce your hypertension problem very smoothly.
  • Healthy Diet: A healthy diet automatically reduces a lot of diseases, which is very impactful for us. Green vegetables are the main medicine for all kinds of diseases. By consuming a healthy meal, you can resolve many health problems, including hypertension.
  • Exercise Everyday: If you genuinely want to live a healthy and fit life, then exercising daily is the best option and the best thing that can help you to eliminate all these crucial diseases. 

Its Causes:

  • If a person is overweight.
  • Eating too much salt and not eating enough fruit and vegetables.
  • Do not do enough exercise.
  • Drink too much alcohol or coffee (or other caffeine-based drinks).
  • Smoke.
  • Do not get much sleep or have disturbed sleep.
  • If you are over 65.
