A cultural bonanza“RBU Risers 2022’ organised for the freshers at the Rayat Bahra University. The three-day event was organised to welcome the newcomers to the campus.Dance and singing competitions saw massive participation by students from different schools of the university.
However, the fashion show drew thunderous applause from the audience as young boys and girls walked down the ramp.Stalls were put up at the sprawling lawns for fun games and students in large numbers participated in smash and oxizone fitness competitions.
Push-up challenge and arm wrestling saw the students flexing their muscles.Food stalls were put up wherein different cuisines were available. The students thronged the stalls where mouth-watering dishes were being served. On the concluding day a live rock band performance was a runaway hit.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the university, lauded the efforts put in by the students and branding department and the faculty in making the event a big success.Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor, speaking on the occasion accorded a warm welcome to the students and said the university was laying equal emphasis on academics and extracurricular activities.
