Government ITI Doda today organized its first Convocation Ceremony on the eve of Vishwakarma Day. Chairman, District Development Council Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal attended the programme as the Chief Guest.The programme was attended by Superintendent Medical College Doda, Dr. Yudhvir Kotwal, Councillor MC Doda, Ramesh Kumar, besides staff of ITI and graduating trainees.

At the outset, Superintendent ITI, Er Ravinder Singh Bhatti welcomed the guests and gave a brief account of the result position. It was informed that a total of 143 candidates appeared in the online Computer Based Test (CBT) out of which 125 candidates passed and the overall pass percentage was 87%.

The Chief Guest, in his address, expressed pleasure for having the opportunity to be part of the unique ceremony. He congratulated the pass out trainees. “you have successfully completed your academic pursuit by your  hard work and perseverance and now it is the time  to make the best use of this knowledge to attain professional success” the DDc Chairman advised the pass out candidates.

He also appreciated the performance of the institution in imparting quality training to the youth in different trades. He urged the young trainees to avail all opportunities provided by the Govt to establish their own business. 

He also stressed that learning is an unending process, and what one learns is important when they get the opportunity to imply and contribute their knowledge to surge forward and always bring constructive change.

He concluded his address with his best wishes to Superintendent ITI Doda and his dedicated team for their contribution and hard work towards the development of ITI Doda.Later, Trade Certificates as well as mementos were presented to the trade toppers by the Chairman.
