The Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan today visited Check i Kawoosa, Hanzan Lawaypora, Narwara, Ohangam and Kandhama villages of the district.

A delegation of women folk from Check i Kawoosa village had visited Chairman DDC Budgam a few days at his office highlighting the serious drinking water crisis in the area. Chairman DDC Budgam today along with Executive Engineer PHE Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Laharwal and AEE PHE Sub division Beerwah, Irfan Ahmad visited Check i Kawoosa village to get the first hand appraisal of the issue.

During the visit, Khan met various public and individual delegations who brought public issues into his notice.On-spot directions were passed by him to redress the long pending drinking water issue in the area in a time bound manner in order to provide necessary relief to the inhabitants.
