MLA thanks CM for strengthening health services in Nurpur area

Ajay Mahajan, MLA representing Nurpur assembly segment lauded the decision of Cabinet in which 11 posts had been sanctioned for Civil Hospital Nurpur which include four Medical Officers, six Staff Nurses and one post of  Operation Theatre Assistant. Mahajan in communiqué issued here today thanked the Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh for initiating measures for development of Nurpur assembly segment and the approval given by the Cabinet to fill up the vacancies in Civil Hospital, Nurpur which he said would go a long way in strengthening the health infrastructure in the Sub pisional Headquarters. He said that it was due to the efforts of Shri Virbhadra Singh that Rs. 1.5 crore CT Scan machine had been purchased and awaiting installation. He said that after Rs. 10 lakh transformer for uninterrupted power supply for CT Scan was installed the CT Scan machine would be provided to the hospital, the monitoring and reporting of which would be directly done on-line from Pune. He said that this would help the people in getting their medical tests at their door steps instead of going to other hospitals which would save their time and money. 

He said that Rs. 35 lakh had been sanctioned by the Government for hospital building at Nurpur and strengthening health infrastructure. Besides, a special general ward and a special paediatrics ward was coming up in the Hospital for neonatal care. He said that the neonatal ward would be having all intensive care facilities for the newborn.Mahajan said that work on Rs. 204.51 crore Finna Singh Irrigation Project,  which was dream project of  former Minister late Shri Sat Mahajan was underway. He said that Shri Sat Mahajan wanted to see this project coming up during his life time and the present Government was committed to complete the ongoing  project in time bound manner which would benefit 60 villages with cultivable area of 4025 hectares thereby fulfilling his dream. Mahajan also thanked the Chief Minister for introducing new courses in ITI, Nurpur and said that the people of the assembly segment were indebted to him for caring the interests of the area.
