Continuing his outreach programme to address public grievances and ensure effective governance, Yudhvir Sethi, MLA Jammu East Constituency, on Thursday held a Public Darbar at the BJP office in Kachi Chawni, here. A large number of residents from different areas of the constituency attended the programme and apprised the MLA of various civic and developmental issues.
During the interaction, people raised concerns related to roads, drainage, sanitation, water supply, electricity, and other public utility services. Several individuals also submitted representations regarding issues requiring intervention from various government departments.
Listening patiently to the grievances, Yudhvir Sethi assured the people that their concerns would be taken up with the concerned authorities on priority. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring timely redressal of public issues and emphasized that public welfare remains at the core of his developmental agenda.
The MLA said that such public interaction programmes provide an effective platform for understanding the problems faced by citizens at the grassroots level. He added that regular dialogue with the people helps in identifying local issues and finding practical solutions through coordinated efforts with government departments.
Sethi further stated that the present central government is committed to transparent, accountable, and people-centric governance. Several issues raised during the Public Darbar were addressed on the spot through telephonic discussions with departmental officers, while others were forwarded to the concerned authorities for immediate action.
Residents appreciated the initiative and thanked the MLA for making himself accessible to the public and personally monitoring the resolution of their grievances. Prominent BJP leaders, party workers, and local residents were also present during the Public Darbar.
The programme concluded with the MLA reaffirming his resolve to work tirelessly for the welfare of the people and the overall development of Jammu East constituency.
