Yes, Bhopal BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur has received death threats. It all happened over a phone call from an unidentified caller posing as an aide of Dawood Ibrahim's brother - Iqbal Kaskar.
In the viral audio clip in which Thakur talked with the unidentified caller (as claimed) for one-and-a-half minutes, she kept asking him why she would be assassinated. "Ok, you want to kill me, but let me know why you want to kill me?" Thakur is heard saying in the audio. Thakur repeated yet again, "Tell me why you want to kill me, I want to know." The caller answered, "We won't leave you. When our man kills, he will tell you why." Now the police have registered the complaint of Sadhvi Pragya (Pragya Thakur) and is investigating the whole matter.
For the unversed, let us tell you there is violence and controversy over Nupur Sharma in the whole country, Sadhvi Pragya stood openly with Nupur Sharma. Sadhvi had tweeted and wrote – If telling the truth is a rebellion, then understand that we are also rebels.
Speaking to the media in Bhopal, Sadhvi Pragya said that she is dishonorable for speaking the truth. There was and is a Shiva temple in Gyanvapi. If someone says "fountain," then it is wrong. Pragya Thakur supported Nupur Sharma and said, “tell our reality, we accept it. But we are merely stating your reality, so why bother? This means that history is dirty somewhere.”

After receiving the threat, the BJP MP lodged a complaint with the TT Nagar police station in Bhopal. Police have registered a case and the matter is being investigated. The phone of the accused is also being traced by the police. Further, this is not the first time that Sadhvi Pragya has received death threats.
