BJP MP from Bhopal Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur has stepped in support of Nupur Sharma, through a tweet she aired the controversial issue of statement by Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammad.
During a news debate on the controversial Gyanvapi issue, regarding the comments of former BJP national spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammed, where the BJP and the government in the country and the world kept on maintaining the balance.
Pragya said that I am infamous for speaking the truth :
Speaking to the media in Bhopal, Sadhvi Pragya said that I am infamous for speaking the truth. There was and is a Shiv temple in Gyanvapi. If someone says fountain, then it is unacceptable.Pragya Thakur supported Nupur Sharma and said that it’s our time to tell your (Muslims) story you should stay calm & accept the religious realities.
Mocking Hindu gods & deities is in their history:
Sadhvi alleged that it’s their (Muslims) history that they defame religious sentiments through movies, defame gods & goddesses through different activities, & if now someone speaks about their religion they should accept. She also mentioned that in past when Kamlesh Tiwari spoke the truth he was murdered.
Sadhvi exerted it’s our duty support Nupur:
Hitting at Muslims she said that India was always the country of Sanatanis, & no one has right to defame our culture & Gods, further she added that India was always of Hindus & will remain forever & it is our duty to preserve it. Supporting Nupur Sharma, the BJP MP said that the history that is there is true. Muslims speak badly of our deities with their dirty mentality and insult our deities through films, which we can not accept silently. We all should condemn it.

During a debate on Friday, May 27, Nupur Sharma the then spokesperson of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on a TV debate made a controversial statement on Prophet Mohammad & exerted her intolerance towards the comments on Lord Shiva.

Nupur further referred to Islamic beliefs, which was shared by alleged fact checker Mohammad Zubair on his Twitter account and accused Nupur of making controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad. The controversy continued to gain momentum, after which Nupur was expelled from the BJP by the party.
