District Development Commissioner, Inder Jeet today convened a meeting with officers, sarpanches to discuss the status of developmental works of the district at district headquarters here today. During the meeting various issues related to Back to Village-3, 14th Finance Commission works, PMAY Gramin, status of MGNREGA works, among various pending and other issues related to the works were discussed as raised by representatives of various Panchayati Raj Institutions.
The Deputy Commissioner sought details and updated block wise figures with regard to the estimation, tendering, allotment and completion of B2V-3 and 14 FC works.Executive Engineer PDD informed that out of 237 works identified under B2V3, 97 works have been completed and 59 are under progress and the same would be completed in a week. For the remaining works the ACP was directed to liase with the concerned sarpanches for timely execution of works by effecting certain changes.
Regarding the 14th FC works the Deputy Commissioner directed ACP and BDOs to complete all the remaining works in timeline.The Deputy Commissioner also directed Executive Engineer Jal Shakti for timely resolution of all grievances raised in the meeting.The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Abid Hussain Shah; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Shafiq Mir; Ex En PDD, Irshad Hussain; Ex En PHE, Rajesh Sethi among sarpanchs BDOs, AEEs, JEs were present.
