Under Civic Action Programme of Jammu & Kashmir Police, Deputy Commissioner Mussarat Islam and Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban, Mohita Sharma today flagged off a Bharat Darshan tour from District Police Line. The tour aims to give exposure to students and to promote cultural exchange and exchange of ideas.
A group of 54 meritorious students including children of police martyrs from all corners of the district, accompanied by various police officers led by the Dy. SP DAR, Waqar Bhat, left for a six days Air tour of New Delhi and Mumbai and other cities while carrying the message of communal harmony.
SSP Mohita Sharma has said that Bharat Darshan tour would help provide local children with exposure and increase their overall confidence. It would also help them stay away from anti-social and anti-national activities.
While interacting with the students, the DC and SSP advised them to avail the opportunity by taking best out of this tour by visiting places of historical and contemporary importance/interest and other places of interest.
Addl SP, Rajni Sharma and Dy SP DAR, Waqar Bhat among various other officers and officials of District Police were present on the occasion.
