Like other parts of country Eid-ul– Fitr was also celebrated with religious fervour and festivity across the District Udhampur.The biggest religious congregation held at Eid Gah, Adarsh Colony Udhampur, where thousands of Muslims offered Eid- Ul- Fitr Nimaz.Elaborate arrangements were also made by the district administration Udhampur for the smooth celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr festival across the Udhampur district.
In her message, DC Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib extended her warm greetings to the people of the district on auspicious occasion of Eid- ul-Fitr. She added that such occasions help in strengthen the bond of love and brotherhood among different sections of the society of the District Udhampur.On the occasion, Hindus exchanged sweets with their Muslim friends and extended greetings on this auspicious occasion.
