The Punjab Police on Sunday, have arrested Barjinder Singh Parwana (38), the main conspirator of this entire incident & 6 others.

BJP asks Bhagwant Mann to step down for ‘failing to maintain law and order.’

Pawana, known for raising provocative speeches on social media, was nabbed from the Mohali airport. He is a history sheeter. 4 cases are registered against him in the police station. Cases are registered against Barjinder Parwana under Arms Act, attempt to murder, intimidation and Disaster Management Act.For your information, let us tell you that on April 29, the news of violence between two groups came to light in Patiala.

After which the police had registered 6 FIRs. In which 25 people were named. Before Barjinder Singh Parwana, the police had arrested Harish Singla, Kuldeep Singh and Daljit Singh. The police were continuously raiding to arrest the mastermind Barjinder Singh Parwana who incited the violence. He was arrested from Mohali airport at around 7.30 am on May 1 by a police team led by Inspector Shaminder Singh.

Plot:

Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, head of the banned terrorist organization Sikhs for Justice in India, had announced to celebrate Khalistan Day on 29 April. In protest against Pannu's announcement, Shiv Sena President Harish Singla announced to take out Khalistan Murdabad March on 29 April. After which violence broke out. Later, Harish Singla was dismissed from Shiv Sena. It is reported that as soon as Barjinder came to know about this, he opposed the march of Shiv Sena and said that he would not allow any such event to happen. He appealed to all the Sikh fundamentalists to gather in Patiala on 29th April.

Barjinder's video went viral on social media. In this viral video, Barjinder is saying If anyone says anything against Khalistan, we will not tolerate it. We will cross all limits of law. Our religious sentiments are attached to Khalistan. Even a 5–7-year-old child has the same feeling. Khalistan was, is Khalistan and will remain Khalistan. After this appeal of Barjinder, on April 29, the fundamentalists stopped the march of Shiv Sena near Kali Mandir. Within no time the swords came out there and stone pelting started from both the sides. Police also had to fire in the air to control the crowd at the spot. It was also reported that bullets were fired from inside the temple. A man was shot in the thigh. When the police took his statement, he told the police that the bullet had come from inside the temple after which he got injured.

Parwana considers Bhindranwale as his role model:

Barjinder Parwana, who described himself as the leader of the Damdami Taksal Jatha based in Rajpura, was born in 1984. Barjinder Khalistani with radical views considers terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale as his idol. Every day, he keeps sharing videos and statements in support of Khalistan and Bhindranwale on social media. In 2007, he moved to Singapore, after returning after 17 months, he established Damdami Taksal Jatha in Rajpura and started preaching religiously.

There has been a conspiracy-

IG Mukhwinder Chhina said that there is a well-planned conspiracy behind this case and whoever is involved in it, it will also be investigated. At present the investigation is not affected, so nothing will be said about it.
