Giving darshan to the devotees, the Dharmik Darshan Yatra today entered arrived in district Amritsar from village Chowl Mehta where Khalsai Jaho Jalal fervor welcomed it. Thousands of devotees had been keenly waiting for darshan of Guru Sahibans’ holy relics. The entire village has been decorated with Khalsa flags and decorated welcome gates. People paid obeisance to the Palki Sahib carrying Guru granth Sahib as well as the holy relics of Guru Sahiban.

The Damdami Taksal chief Bhai Harnam Singh ji Khalsa, Jandiala Guru MLA Mr Baljit Singh Jalalusma, SGPC member advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Mr Talbir Singh Gill, chairman Veer Singh lopoke, former chairman Tarlok Singh Bath  especially welcomed the yatra and gave siropas to the Panj Piaras.

The Damdami Taksal chief Bhai Harnam Singh Ji while paying obeisance said that this effort of Punjab government and SGPC will go long way in the annals of history in propagating Sikhism. He said that he should follow the path our Gurus have laid.

Similarly SGPC member Bhagwant Singh Sialka said that the Dharmik Darshan Yatra has enabled people of every district of Punjab to have darshan of Guru Sahiban while being at their home. He said that the Punjab government has conducted a great service to Sikhism by holding this yatra.Cold water chhabeel and langar were held at different places for the devotees. From village Mehta Damdami Taksal Gurudwara, the yatra moved towards Mehta and left for its next destination to Amritsar.
