20th meeting of the State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) was held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.The Authority in this meeting approved 19 project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units involving total proposed investment of approximately Rs. 1376.93 crore and employment potential of about 2266 persons, which goes to show that the State continues to attract the investment despite of overall slowdown in the economy.New proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of M/s New Wazir Chand Fruits (NWC), Mohal Gajedi, Theog, District Shimla for setting up of CA Store, M/s Lami Tubes Private Limited, Village Kheda Nihla, Nalagarh, District Solan for manufacturing of laminated tubes, FFS Tubes, M/s M G Petrochem Private Limited, Kirpalpur, Nalagarh District Solan for manufacturing of Ethanol, Animal Feed, Carbon Dioxide, M/s Hygena Life Sciences Private Limited, Kirpalpur, Nalagarh, District Solan for manufacturing of Ethanol, Animal Feed, Carbon Dioxide, M/s RSA Energy Pvt.
