MP from Patiala and former Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Mrs Preneet Kaur inaugurated a new lift at District Courts here, today, installed with a grant of Rs. 34 lakh sanctioned by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for the Yadavindra Lawyers Complex.On this occasion, Mrs Preneet Kaur said that both lawyers and doctors are important part of our society which is a must have for every person in one form or another. He specially thanked the Chief Minister for providing a grant of Rs 34 lakh for the Yadavindra Lawyers Complex.Divulging the other important development works done in the vicinity of Diatrict Courts Patiala, Mrs Preneet Kaur said that the Chief Minister has released Rs 5.4 crore for beautification of Rajindra Lake in front of District Courts and Rs. 1.5 crore for renovation of Musafir Memorial Central State Library.  She said that apart from many other development works, renovation of Government Rajindra Hospital and canal water project for the people of Patiala have also been started.

Patiala Bar Association President Advocate Jatinderpal Singh Ghuman specially thanked the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and MP Preneet Kaur. Advocate Ghuman said that the Chief Minister had approved a grant for the renovation of Yadavindra Complex at Patiala District Courts, the work of which has been completed by the Panchayati Raj by installing a new lift and constructing 16 bathrooms.Meanwhile, senior advocates NPS Waraiach, R. N. Kaushal, Dinesh Batish, Sumesh Jain, Narinder Kapoor, Johnpal Singh, Ravinder Kaushal, Prabhjot Singh Ahluwalia, Gagandeep Gosal, Aman Mathur, Bar Association Secretary Avneet Singh Biling, Vice President Deepak Madan, Joint Secretary Vikram Singh Brar, Treasurer Umesh Goyal and Library Incharge Harpreet Singh thanked the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and MP Preneet Kaur and Bar hounded the Member Parliament.Information Commissioner Amrit Partap Singh Sekhon, PRTC Chairman K.K.  Sharma, Municipal Corporation Mayor Sanjeev Sharma, Senior Vice Chairman Water Supply and Sewerage Board Ved Kapoor, District Congress President K.K.  Malhotra, Surinder Singh Ghuman, Councilor Harwinder Singh Nippi, Atul Joshi, Naresh Duggal, Advocate Harwinder Shukla, Sandeep Malhotra, Youth Congress President Anuj Khosla and a large number of advocates were also present.
