District Administration Kathua is bracing up to further intensify enforcement of Covid Appropriate Behaviour to rein in the violations by individuals and Business entities.Giving the details, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Yadav  and Senior Superintendent of P R C Kotwal said the District Administration is going to intensify enforcement Abhiyaan further   and strict action will be taken against the violators.  The DC appealed to people to act as responsible citizens and follow safety precautions such as safe distancing, maintaining hand Hygiene and wearing masks so that the threat of third wave can be neutralized. He said it has been observed that people are not adhering to the Covid Appropriate Behaviour and   due to dipping of new Covid-19 cases people start attending social and religious gatherings without following the guidelines and SOPs predefined for all allowed activities.The SSP Kathua, R.C Kotwal also appealed people to adhere to night curfew restrictions which are being observed from 8 PM to 7 AM daily. He said as per the new guidelines fully vaccinated persons are being exempted from taking Covid-19 test at Lakhanpur while all others entering JKUT need to undergo testing.
