Secretary, Cooperative Department, Yasha Mudgal today visited Cooperative Public Higher Secondary School (CPHSS), Deeli Marble Market here to assess the functioning of school.The objective of the visit was to address various issues and concerns faced by the school with an aim to bring qualitative improvement in its functioning.During the visit, the Secretary interacted with the teachers and management of the school and also took round of the school to take stock of the infrastructure facilities including smart classes, class rooms, computers lab, library, music rooms etc.The Secretary, during the visit also kick started a plantation drive in the school premises for improving the environment in and around with an aim to promote a message of conserving and caring for the nature.She also gave a motivational speech to the staff for better teaching  practices on ethical and moral values.The Secretary further added that the dedicated efforts of the teachers along with cooperation of the management had virtually been augmenting infrastructural facilities at the Cooperative schools.

Deputy Registrar Cooperative Jammu, Dr. Ranjit Singh Kotwal; Principal, CPHSS, Veenu Prabhakar; President of CPHSS, B S Manhas; Secretary, CPHSS, Major Singh; Secretary, JKDCUL, Vikrant Dogra and other members of school management were also present on the occasion.Later, the Secretary Co-operative also visited the Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Housing Corporation, (JKCHC) office New Plot Jammu to review the working of the corporation.Managing Director, JK Cooperative Housing Cooperation, Bharat Bhushan gave a detailed power point presentation regarding the achievements and issues concerning the housing corporation.  He informed that the housing corporation has played a vital role in providing affordable houses to its members who represent various cross sections of the society. During the visit, threadbare discussions were also held on various issues and problems pertaining to the JK Cooperative Housing Corporation.Secretary directed the concerned authorities to sort out the issues raised in the meeting in a time bound manner. She asked the management of corporation to improve coordination with other allied departments.Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal, Deputy Registrar Cooperative Jammu; Bashir Ahmed Mir chairman; V K Magoo Director; Sonali Arun Gupta joint registrar cooperative and others concerns were present in the meeting.
