The District Information Centre (DIC) Kupwara today organised an announcement campaign regarding implementation of Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) in the district.In this connection, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today morning flagged off the vehicle mounted with Public Address System (PAS), banners and posters from D C Office here.On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Information department plays a vital role in disseminating timely information among the masses regarding issues of public interest. He appealed to people that time is not yet conducive that we can bear to lower the guard against the COVID.He asked all stakeholders to come forward and ensure implementation of CAB and other SOPs religiously so that together we can defeat the pandemic.Later, the vehicle traversed through various markets of Kupwara town and villages including Usmanabad, Regipora, Malik Mohallah, Jamia Market, Old Chowk, Bus Stand, Bohipora, Branwari, Sulkoot etc, during which the employees of Information Department repeatedly appealed people to implement CAB and other SOPs in letter and spirit and vaccinate themselves at nearby Vaccination centres where free service of vaccination has been kept available by the Government.
