Deputy Commissioner, Doda Vikas Sharma today reviewed the performance of banks and line departments for the quarter ending March 2021 here at the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting.The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, GM DIC, Lead Bank Manager, District Manager NABARD, Officers of line departments, besides bank officers/officials.At the outset, threadbare discussion was held on achievements in priority and non priority sectors vis a vis Annual Credit Plan (ACP) and other individual beneficiary Schemes.The concerned Departments and bankers shared their views on account of non achievement of the desired targets in respect of some priority sector segments.The DC asked heads of the banks to take required steps to increase the CD ratio in the district. He asked the sponsoring agencies to support maximum cases for increasing the MSME credit in the district, besides asked the sponsoring agencies to ensure that the beneficiaries who are availing the benefits of the self employment schemes are actually running the assets.With regard to opening of a new bank branch at Dali Udhyanpur, the DC directed the concerned quarter to submit the latest development by coordinating their respective heads within two days. Besides, he asked the planning section to constitute a district level team for formulation of the action plan on how to popularise the indigenous commodities at UT and National level.
