Covid-19 cases in Samba show significant decline : Anuradha Gupta

Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta today informed that Covid-19 cases in   have seen significant decline in the district since last week.However she said it's not the time to get complacent and the people need to follow the government  SoPs with self-restraint.The DC said that the positivity rate has constantly declined while presently there are 930 (882 Home isolation) active covid cases, which shows that the district Samba is on a recovery path.The DC said “With drop in positive cases, now our prime focus is on enforcement of covid-19 appropriate behavior including social distancing, compulsory masks, sanitizing facility at shops and other major footfall points and keeping our surroundings hygienic”. The enforcement teams comprising Tehsildars and Police officials have been directed to enforce covid-19 SoPs strictly and impose penalty on violatorsThe Deputy Commissioner appealed to the public of Samba to follow covid appropriate behavior. “It’s for our own safety” said the DC samba. The DC said the administration has taken several initiatives for containing the virus and is also regularly taking feedback from the public through the social media platforms. She said the public can voice their concerns to us through Twitter @dcofficesamba and Facebook @dcsambaofficial and appropriate follow up shall also be taken.
