Surjit Singh Rakhra, Rural Development and Panchayats Minister today said that the Punjab Government would expedite the development projects in the rural belts in the state by further improving education system, curbing the menace of drugs and providing more employment opportunities. Interacting with the media after taking over as Rural Development and Panchayats Minister, Mr. Rakhra appealed the officers of Rural Development and Panchayats Department to pay full attention towards the grievances of people and try to resolve them in a short span of time.
