A Young Social Activist Cum Entrepreneur From South Kashmiri's Shopian Town become a helping hand among privileged people via spreading peace and serves people on his humanitarian basis.Tabish Ishaq Mir alias "Mir Salim" is a growing Social activist, entrepreneur and a humanitarian who hails from Shopain town of J&K is worked on different NGO'S to serve privilaged families in district.Tabish Mir is a business student studying at SSM College and has a successful hostel business running that accommodates more than 200 to 300 students annually. His business, “Home Fort Hostels” is popular among the students who are looking for accommodation in Srinagar. The hostels are popular and have left over many consumers satisfied. During childhood Tabish shows his interest in social works and after 12th standard he formally joined NGO's to serve people and reach out to vulnerable families in far flang areas of South Kashmir.He is currently running his own NGO namely "Cashmere Foundation" which is 24×7 available for destitute families and are tirelessly working on it and focus on spreading awareness, distribution of necessary food items to the poor and needy, and imparting education to the poor. This year in Pandemic he leads the front with his Volunteer's distributed necessary food items, medical kit and other essential items to the people from different areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
He is also a national cricket player and has good love for this game he take part in many events candle light vigils, awareness programs, sports events, educational reformations seminars and other events that revolve around the idea of a better society. He has conducted many events, such as “Winter Fest 2019”, “Women Empowerment” and other grand events throughout Jammu and Kashmir.Mir Salim has proved that business, studies, sports interest and humanitarian work can all go along with the right dedication and effort.Mir Tabish Ishaq is working on different projects and aims to benefits the general public, both by his social work and business models. He is a true example of courage, excellence and optimism.
