For the final phase of District Development Council (DDC) elections and Panchayat by-elections, the District Administration Shopian today imparted training to the polling staff in two sessions, here.During the training, the master trainers briefed the participants about their duties besides informing them about the key aspects of the elections including that these elections are being conducted through ballot boxes.On the occasion, the Nodal Officer training, Dr. Muhammed Amin said that under phase-VIII Zainapora-I and Zainapora-II of district Shopian are scheduled to undergo polls on December 19, 2020.Nodal Officer COVID-19 Dr Shamim Ahmad emphasized upon the polling staff that while performing their duties they should adhere to Covid-19 SOPs in letter and spirit and ensure use of masks, sanitizer and uniforms.
