B2V3 programme commences in Kupwara

“Back to Village phase third” (B2V3) was today formally launched in Kupwara district while today 129 visiting officers reached the designated panchayats of the district this morning, who shall remain available there for 3 days and 2 nights.The visiting officers convened Gram Sabhas, interactive meetings with PRIs, visited local institutions and distributed different kits among beneficiaries.SDM Karnah, Bilal Mohiddin Bhat also participated in many Gram Sabhas including Suliman, Khawarpora-A. He also participated in Tad Gram Sabha in Teetwal block and distributed baby kits among the beneficiaries. Supervisory Officers designated by the Deputy Commissioner also visited various Panchayats and inspected the proceedings of the B2V3 Programme.At Manzpather, about 30 Kms from district headquarter in Reddi Chowkibal block, the visiting officer inspected Anganwadi Centre, besides having an interaction with PRIs and senior citizens of the area. The people of the village expressed their satisfaction over construction of the new building of Government High School Manzpather which has 245 students on roll including 70% girls.At Manzchitra in the same block, COVID tests were conducted and the visiting officer has inspected many institutions and had interaction with PRIs there.At Aloosa, the visiting officer and PRIs, Sarpanch, Panchs and senior citizens were seen sitting together and discussing the issues how to ensure development of the area in a better way. “Funds to the tune of Rs.8 lakh have been released for fencing of school and link road from Sheikhpora to Suthpora under Back to Village-2. Besides, Rs.14 lakh have been released under 15th F.C. for fencing of graveyards'', said Sarpanch of the area.

At Awoora-B the visiting officer visited many local institutions as per the guidelines, conducted Gram Sabha and baby kits were distributed by Sarpanch in presence of visiting officers and ICDS Supervisor. On the occasion, ICDS Supervisor, Syed Shameem was given certificate of appreciation for excellent work during COVID-19 containment.At Kralpora, Jahama, Batpora, Heril, Batgund, Aadoora and other panchayats, visiting officers conducted Gram Sabhas and interacted with PRIs and senior citizens and passed resolutions.
