DDC Kathua chairs meeting to finalise activity plan for Jan Abhiyan

District Development Commissioner Kathua O. P Bhagat today chaired a meeting to finalise the activity plan for  21 day 'Jan Abhiyan' being held in the run up to the 'Back to Village' phase 3.The DDC at the outset, called upon the departments to ensure 100% saturation of individual beneficiaries oriented schemes.  Aadhaar Seeding & Aadhaar generation of every eligible beneficiary  must be completed by September 30, directed the DDC.He exhorted upon the departments to organise special camps  at block levels to map the scope of schemes  of respective departments and redress their issues within  21 days of Abhiyan.The DDC said a robust strategy needs to be followed to identify the issues of public's welfare for which officers and field functionaries to play vital role to fulfill people's aspirations.He said public services camps shall be organised at panchayat levels  during  which   categories certificates, Domicile, Ration cards, Pension, KCC, Health Gold cards, MGNREGA, Labour Card, PM Kissan, Driving License, Registration Certificate  etc shall be delivered to maximum applicants during the Jan Abhiyan time .The DDC said priority must be given to complete left out projects of B2V -01 and B2V -02. He asked them priotrize the works keeping in their feasibility.He said during the course of 21 days Jan Abhiyan no officer shall leave the station without prior permission.He also impressed upon the departments to adopt innovative ideas to help youth and farmers to adopt income enhancing opportunities.
