District Administration, Kulgam today organized a sensitization cum training programme for transport operators of the district to create awareness regarding Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).The drivers and other transporters were cautioned that a small negligence in terms of violating SOPs may endanger the lives of people and were advised to develop the habit of wearing mask and use of sanitizer on a daily basis while on work.A training session was also held in which the experts from health department deliberated upon the requisite procedures and steps to be taken to deal with the COVID-19 positive cases in case of emergencies.Later swabs of drivers were taken for COVID-19 tests.Present on occasion were, Cheif Medical Officer Dr Fazil Kochak, Regional Transport Officer Kulgam, Dr Mohammad Zubair, Nodal Officers Trainings, Bashir Ahmad Bhat and officers and officials from health and MVD department.
