The theme song of 'Mission Fateh', 'Fateh Hou Punjabio' is reverberating in the entire length and breadth of the district with the panches as well as the sarpanches, especially the women, taking the lead in making the common people aware against corona virus by exhorting them to strictly follow the safety protocol laid down by the Health Department. As per the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan, a consistent campaign is being waged in the district to ensure that the message of Mission Fateh reaches every household.Lending a helping hand to the District Administration in this great cause are the Guardians of Governance (GoGs) led by the Brigadier Manohar Singh and the District Development and Panchayat Officer (DDPO) D.K. Saldi.The panches and sarpanches emphasized upon the people of their respective villages to wash hands with soap and hand sanitizers for 20 seconds as often as possible, wear masks whenever going out and maintain the social distancing of minimum 6 feet.The DDPO said that the role of the women panches and the sarpanches deserves special appreciation as they are always in the forefront to inspire people to follow safety precautions.The GoGs are also rendering valuable service in popularizing 'Mission Fateh' all across the district. In village Jaula of block Derabassi and in village Jawaharpur of the same block, door to door camapign is gaining much momentum.Furthermore, the GoG Dilbagh Singh has inducted the Sarpanch of village Rakauli in Tehsil Kharar Manjit Kaur as the Mission Fateh Warrior and honoured her with the badge. Similarly, the Sarpanch of village Nanherian in Tehsil Kharar was also inducted as Mission Fateh Warrior. Not only this, but the GoGs are also popularising the message of Mission Fateh through the distribution of the leaflets among the people of the villages with GoG Kulwant Singh undertaking the task in village Chadiala and encouraging the people to download cova app and participate in the competition for the success of Mission Fateh.
