In view of unlocking and to fight COVID19, village level massive awareness campaign starts across Bandipora district regarding preventive measures to be followed under COVID-19 combat programme.The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Ravinder Kumar, held a threadbare with the officers to frame the strategy of disseminating awareness among public, here.The drive marked with the constitution of village and block level monitoring committees under the supervision of Block Development Officers.The committees constituted were equipped with protection gear kits under the HIFAZAT Programme - Bandipora Fights Back COVID-19. The monitoring committees shall conduct awareness programmes in different villages and ensure daily reporting to the district administration.Awareness regarding preventive measures to be followed under COVID 19 combat programme like use of masks/ social distancing and sanitization will be disseminated to the general public by the monitoring committees at village level.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora Reyaz Ahmad Beigh, Sub Divisional Magistrate Sumbal Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone, CMO Bandipora Dr. Bashir Ahmad Khan, District Information Officer Bandipora Jahangeer Akhoon in addition to Block Development Officers and Zonal Education Officers of the District.
