Launched by the Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh, the Mission Fateh will be percolated down to the grass root level to raise awareness on the ways to keep corona virus at bay. In district Moga the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) General Mrs Anita Darshi and SDM Moga Mr Satwant Singh kicked off this week long activity campaign under stewardship of Deputy Commissioner Moga Mr Sandeep Hans.ADC (G) Mrs Anita Darshi and SDM Moga Mr Satwant Singh flagged off three publicity vehicles for Municipal Corporation Moga area from the district administrative complex.Talking to media persons about detailed activity, the ADC (G) Mrs Anita Darshi said that 10 publicity vans are also being run in the district that will spread awareness. She added that people should abide by the government rules, wear mask, maintain social distance and wash their hands repeatedly to win over corona.The disease has no cure till now and to prevent it is the only way to win over it.The grass root level activities will be held from June 15 to June 21 wherein people will be shown practical ways to keep the virus at bay. The activities will begin from June 15 with the distribution of badges.The badge recipients will upload their selfies with badges on cova mobile application. These badges will be presented to government civil administration employees, doctors, police, medical staff, ASHA workers, Anganwari workers, safai workers, GoGs, sarpanches, NGOs etcThereafter on June 16 Anganwari workers will pin up their badges and visit the households of children in their anganwari kendras and inform them about ways to prevent corona virus. On June 17, the sarpanches of villages will adorn the badges and meet villagers creating awareness on covid. On June 18 special publicity and awareness campaigns will be held. On June 19, the NGOs will adorn these badges and create awareness in respective areas. On June 20, the police will be holding awareness.Besides this, the Punjab government will honor those people who will upload their pictures on cova mobile application . The lists of these winners will be sent to district administration that will honor the achievers with T shirts and badges. Also Mission Fateh Warrihree pors will be selected through cova app wherein one will have to download cova app to participate.
