The state government is committed for balanced and equitable development of the state with special preference to those areas which have neglected so far, due to one reason or another. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur stated this while addressing the virtual rally of Indora  BJP Mandal of Kangra district  through video conferencing from Shimla today.The Chief Minister said that the people of Indora has indeed done commendable work in providing people of the area adequate masks, food packets for needy and even dry ration to the migrant labourers stranded in the area during the curfew imposed in the State in wake of Corona epidemic. He said that the people also generously contributed towards to PM CAREs and CM COVID FUND. He said that the State Government has also ensured that no one in the State sleeps without food and also provided masks and sanitizers to the needy.Jai Ram Thakur said that the State has witnessed a steep hike in the number of COVID cases due to the arrival of people stranded in different parts of the country. He said that thousands of students were strained at Kota, Mumbai, Goa, Pune, Bangluru etc. He said that at one stage the State was about to become Corona free, but at the same time it was the duty of the government to bring back the people who were in distress.Chief Minister said that the state government would ensure that paucity of funds not come in the path of development of the area. He said that the government has decided to ply buses on various routes to facilitate the commuters. The life has gradually started returning back to normal and we have to ensure that the pace of development  going uninterrupted. He said that the opposition was making baseless and false allegations against the State Government. The party workers should give a befitting reply to their nefarious designs, he added.Jai Ram Thakur said that the last five year tenure of the Congress Government was wasted in saving their leader from various allegations of corruption. He said that these leaders have no moral right to speak about morality and honesty. Chief Minister said that the State Government has launched several schemes to benefit the people of the State. He said that Mukhya Mantri Aajivika Yojna has been launched to provide 120 day guaranteed employment to the urban people. Mukhiya Mantri Ek Bigha Yojna has been launched to ensure women empowerment and strengthen their economy.While detailing developmental works being initiated in Indora area, the Chief Minister said that a Rs 34.82 crore multi village water supply scheme was being executed in the area to solve drinking water problem. This scheme would benefit about 80villages of the area. He said that a mini secretariat was also being constructed at Indora and police post Damtal has been upgraded to Police Station. MLA Reeta Dhiman thanked the Chief Minister for giving special consideration for the developmental aspirations of the people of Indora.State General Secretary BJP Trilok Kapoor, Mandal BJP President Balwan Singh, President Organizational District  Nurpur Ramesh Rana also shared their views on the occasion.
