The armies of India and Pakistan Sunday afternoon exchanged gunfire at Hajipeer sector in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.An official told  news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that this afternoon Pakistani rangers resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation.He said Pakistani rangers violated ceasefire and targeted the forward post of Indian army along the line of control (LoC). This is the  second time since morning that Pakistani rangers targeted forward posts. Earlier,  in morning they resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in the wee hours.Shahid Ahmad Sarpanch from Nambla village said that areas like, Silikote, Hatlanga, Nambla and Rustom Mohallah were affected due to the ceasefire as panic gripped in these village and people were seen running for cover.Senior Superintendent of police (SSP), Baramulla Abdul Qayoom also confirmed to KNO that the ceasefire violation in Hajipeer sector took place in the morning. “There was, however, no loss of life or damage to property so far,” he said—(KNO)
