The President Shiv Mandir Committee, Bharat Bhushan Gupta and members on behalf of citizens of the district today felicitated Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh for their selfless, tireless and dedicated efforts to combat the spread of Covid-19 pandemic in the district.Retired ADC, Subhash Chander, Vijay Guru, Ramesh Bali, Rahul Gupta and Yashpal Sharma besides other members of the committee were also present on the occasion.The committee members lauded the efforts of district administration for taking care of the needs of the general public amid lockdown and for providing the best possible assistance to the necessitous on a timely basis, to reduce their sufferings.The Committee said that with strict enforcement of lockdown, isolation of suspected cases of Coronavirus, swift identification of persons with a foreign travel history and contact tracing have earned better results in containing the spread of COVID-19. They assured full support to the district administration in these hours of crises. The role of the officers of district administration, Health Department, MC Rajouri, Police and all the stakeholders/frontline warriors was also highly appreciated in containing the spread of COVID-19 in the district.Moreover, Anu Bhasin, Councillor Ward No.06 MC Nowshera and other prominent have also felicitated the Deputy Commissioner for his role in containing the spread of COVID-19 in the district.
