The District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Shahbaaz Ahmad Mirza on Wednesday reviewed the developmental activities resumed following the declaration of the orange zone.The DDC reviewed the progress on several projects of public importance including water supply schemes, roads and other infrastructure besides reviewing the status of works on several languishing projects in the district.He urged upon the officers to expedite the work on these projects so that projects are completed at earliest. He said a lot of time has been wasted due to lockdown and hence works need to be expedited to compensate the loss. He also directed them to keep in consideration the related health advisories especially maintaining social distancing and using safety gears while working on the projects.Later, the DDC visited District Hospital Bandipora and inspected ongoing development working coming up there. The project is in its final phase of completion and will be well equipped with modern and advanced facilities. DDC directed the concerned authorities to speed up the pace of work so that it is completed as early as possible.
