The Health and Family Welfare and Labour Minister, Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu was today handed over 500 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits by the Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Swaraj Division with a view to help the Punjab Government combat the spread of Coronavirus and safeguard the frontline Covid-19 warriors.The PPE kits were handed over to the minister by Head Corporate Social Responsibility team of Swaraj ,Mr Arun Raghav.The minister appreciated the noble gesture by Swaraj Tractors and said that the State Government is fully committed to effectively combat corona virus by continuous upgrade of the healthcare infrastructure.It is also noteworthy that earlier, the Swaraj Division had begun assembling face shields at its plant in Mohali to help the medical practitioners who are in the line of duty against the fast spreading infection. As many as 3000 face shields were handed over to Punjab Government last week.
