Seeing these migrant laborers, the National Executive Member of the BJP Youth Wing and Mohali's Ex Councilor Sahibee Anand prevented them from leaving. But these workers were not ready to listen to anything and wanted to go to their state Bihar.On this, the BJP youth leader sahibee Anand called a high administrative officer of Mohali from his phone in front of the labourers and the officer assured the migrant laborers that soon a train will be leaving for Bihar from the Mohali railway station, and the Mohali Administration will try best to send all, But for this, they have to get themselves registered. After this, Sahibee Anand requested and tried his best to convince the migrant laborers that they should not go like this, as people are afraid of getting the virus and then there is more chance to that this virus can be spread to someone else, but the migrant laborers did not listen and left on foot by saying that they do not trust anyone here because they have been misguided by local leaders and officers concerned.While talking to the Media, Sahibee Anand said that Corona virus has not yet spread in this category of people, and the migrant labourers staying in different part of country are not made aware of all the decisions made my the state and central government.Anand said that if the situation remains like this then the time is not far away that Corona virus spreads in such group of people and then it will be very difficult to handle the situation.
Anand demanded that all the district administration and both central and state governments should stop these migrant laborers where ever spotted by any officer.Anand said that these people do not know how to register online, for this the government and administration should take help of local councilors and government officials so that proper management and information can be given to these migrant labourers Who are staying away from There families. Sahibee Anand slammed the Congress by saying that even though Congress President Sonia Gandhi has formed teams to help the migrants. But these teams only appear on paper. They have no support for migrants at the grassroots level. This can be seen in Mohali, where hundreds of migrants are forced to walk to their homes from different parts of Punjab as the punjab government fails to give these Migrants a homely atmosphere so that they follow a right path to go to their respective home state.Sahibee Anand also requested the Punjab government to take strict action on Those, who are forcing these migrants to pay rent in this situation. as the situation in Punjab is that landlords are seeking rent from tenants, Because of which those who are not in a position to pay rent, they have started migrating from Punjab.The workers say that they do not have work, where should they give the money, but the landlords did not listen to them. Finally all the workers decided that they would return to their state. Anand has demanded from the government that the migrants should be stopped at the first point only so that they do not walk from one place to another. If these people go out of Punjab, then the other state government will send them back which will just create more problem for both the states.Sahibee said that the trains on which these migrants are sent to their Hime state from different parts of the country are given by the central government to all the state government.At this crucial time officers serving should not try to earn money from different ways but should try to help these migrants by all means.Sahibee said that he was unable to stop these migrants but if the government would have stopped them on the first point only then they would not have been able to walk so far.
