Winning the war against Covid 19 pandemic, one more patient from the district Ms Rajni from Neelamahal was discharged from the local Civil Hospital after she was recovered from Corona Virus and her two consecutive reports came negative.Rajni was admitted in the local Civil Hospital on April 21. The first sample of both was sent for testing on May 3, the report of which was negative. Subsequently, second sample of the patient was also sent on May 6 and reported negative.While expressing complete satisfaction over the treatment given to her in the Civil hospital, Ms Rajni said that the entire team of Doctors especially Dr. Kashmiri Lal treated her well. She also lauded the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and district administration for making special efforts for treatment of Covid 19 affected patients.She urged the people that there was no need to worry of the virus but precautions must be taken to ensure that war against it was won.Meanwhile, complementing the team of Doctors who have ensured the treatment to patient Rajni, Civil Surgeon Jalandhar Dr Gurinder Kaur Chawla and Medical Superintendent Civil hospital Jalandhar Dr. Harjinder Singh said that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, the Health department was fully committed to win the war against Corona Virus.They said that it was a moment of pride and satisfaction for them that these patients have recovered. They said that a total of 25 patients have recovered so far in district adding that all the remaining patients were also on fast pace of recovery.
