District Red Cross Society, Barnala organized a blood donation camp at civil hospital under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner cum president of Red Cross Society, Tej Partap Singh Phoolka on the occasion of World Red Cross Day. Mr. Phoolka paid tribute to Red Cross founder Jean Henri Dunant and Bhai Ghanaiya Ji. The deputy commissioner said that district Red Cross Society is engaged in the service of the needy. He lauded the efforts of Asra Social Welfare Club and Sant Nirankari Mission and other organizations supporting the Red Cross Society for blood donation canp. He encouraged the blood donars. "Blood donation is a noble cause and such efforts are a boon during the current situation", he added.On this occasion, 45 units of blood was collected. Meanwhile, masks and sanitizers were distributed to ASHA workers as per the directions of the Deputy Commissioner. On the occasion, Mr. Sarwan Singh, Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Barnala, Mr. Rajesh Bhutani, President, Asra Social Welfare Club, Mr. Randeep Singh Aujla and others were present.
