Office of Controller of Communication Accounts, the Nodal office of the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications (DoT), New Delhi for the State of Punjab. The CCA office in association with Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) PGI, Chandigarh participated in the Blood Donation Camp at Chandigarh on 13.6.2025.
Dr. Mandeep Singh, the Joint Controller emphasised and educated the staff about the importance of Blood Donation and termed it as the highest service to the society. The officers and staff willingly volunteered for Blood Donation.
The team of blood donors was lead by Sh. Akshay Gupta, Deputy Controller. Sharing the blood donation experience amongst the blood donors, Sh. Akshay Gupta informed that he is a regular blood donor and donates blood every year.
Sh. R R Sharma, Head of Transfusion Department, PGI acknowledged participation of the office as Social Service to mankind. The Blood Donors were issued “Certificate of Appreciation” by Dr. R R Sharma, Professor & Head of Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER and State Blood Transfusion Council U.T. Chandigarh.
