The Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today said that the state government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has decided to facilitate the migrants, who were desirous to shift to their natives states, by submission of online forms.The Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner, while chairing meeting with representatives of the migrant labourers, said that the state government has issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for outward movement of stranded persons in Punjab due to curfew/ lockdown imposed in State to prevent spread of Covid19 Pandemic. They said that as per the instructions of Government of India outward movement of stranded persons in Punjab would be start from May 5th. Both the officers said every willing person, who wants to go out from Punjab, would have to fill a performa which was available at link http://covidhelp.punjab.gov.in/PunjabOutRegistration.aspx. The Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Police said that online performas must be filled by the desirous persons adding that once a person has filed the performa on link for his family/group, he/she would be allotted a system generated unique ID for the full family/group. They said that Health check for screening of the people would be held which would be completed by evening of May 4th. 

Mr. Sharma said that screened persons who were found asymptomatic would be issued a certificate in form F by the health team.Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr Gurpreet Singh Bhullar also constituted a ten member committee headed by Additional MC Commissioner Ms Babita Kler with Assistant Commissioner Mr Hardeep Singh, DCP Mr Balkar Singh, SP Mr RPS Sandhu, Assistant Labour Commissioner Mr Baljeet Singh, GM DIC Mr Bhola Singh Brar, GM Roadways Mr Navraj, DHO Dr Surinder Nangal, IMA representative Dr Pankaj Paul and Station Master Mr Ramesh Behal. They said that this committee would hold meetings with representatives of migrants unions and would facilitate the filling of the online proforma adding that besides representatives, the department of Industry and Labour would also  ensure the filling of online proforma.On the occasion Additional Deputy Commissioners Mr. Vishesh Sarangal, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Ms. Babita Kler, Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Mr Balkar Singh, Sub Divisional Magistrates Mr. Rahul Sindhu, Dr. Jai Inder Singh, ADCPs Ms Sudarvizhi, Mr PS Bhandal, Superintendent of Police Mr. RPS Sandhu, Civil Surgeon Dr Gurinder Kaur Chawla, Dr Shobhna and others were present.
