A tweet from Chief Minister’s Office today proved as a boon for a student of CT Institute who was facing mental health problem from last couple of days as led by Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr Navjot Singh Mahal the administration carried on rescue operation.A youth Mr Harsimran Singh, who was a student of city institute, today twitter on CMO Punjab that he was living alone in a village near Nakodar and due to the ongoing situation he had developed mental health issues. Further he said that he had no immediate family here as his entire family was settled in Dubai. The youth further sought help from the Punjab government and the district administration as he was not able to live alone and wanted to go to his aunt in Nakodar. “I am having very hard time, please help me please”, he added.Reacting to it the CMO asked the district administration to look into the matter immediately. Swinging into action the Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police, who were leading flag march in rural areas of the district, rushed to the spot. The Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police were accompanied by team of Doctors who examined the youth.Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police assured the youth that the district administration was with every resident of the district in this hour of crisis. They asked the Sub Divisional Magistrate Mr Amit Kumar and Assistant Superintendent of Police Ms Vatsalha Gupta to make necessary arrangements for ensuring that the youth meets with his aunt in Nakodar. Meanwhile, the youth Harsimran Singh profusely thanked the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and district administration for this noble gesture.
