Director Agriculture Jammu,  Inder Jeet today   chaired a meeting to review the progress of implementation of various farmer’s welfare schemes and programmes at Krishi  Bhawan, Talab Tillo, Jammu. The physical and financial achievements/ expenditure under various Centrally Sponsored schemes and CAPEX Budget 2019-20 were discussed  threadbare in the meeting.Director Agriculture stressed to expedite the utilization of funds to ensure maximum achievement at the earliest under various Centrally Sponsored  Farmers Welfare Programmes and CAPEX 2019-20. He asked officers for strict adherence to quality parameters while executing all infrastructure development works as per  Detailed Project Reports. Inder Jeet further impressed upon the officers to identity and resolve the bottlenecks in successful implementation of farmer welfare schemes.  Director  also took latest update regarding uploading of beneficiary related data under different schemes on relevant Direct Benefit Transfer portals and geo-tagging related issues.  Progress in respect of Trikuta Mushroom Corridor Project, establishment of Permanent Procurement Mandis in Jammu and Kathua district and Rajmash Cluster Bhaderwah/  Kishtwar was also reviewed in the meeting.The meeting was attended by Joint Director Agriculture (Inputs), Anil Nargotra, Joint Director SLUB, Daisy Bhan, Deputy Director  Agriculture (Central), Jagmohan Bhat, Agriculture Economist, K. K. Sharma, Dy. Director Agriculture (Trainings) Rajinder Kr. Sharma, SMS-RL, Vijay Koushal, Inderjeet Singh,  Agronomist Vegetables, A. S. Reen, Chief Agriculture Officers of all districts of Jammu Division and Sectoral Heads of different Schemes of Agriculture Department.
