A special District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting was held to take stock of progress under Kissan Credit Card (KCC) Scheme, here today.District Development Commissioner (DDC) Dr Sagar D Doifode chaired the meeting.The man points discussed in the meeting included extending KCC scheme coverage to all PM KISSAN beneficiaries to enable them to avail the benefit of concessional institutional credit. The Chief Agriculture Officer(CAO) apprised about the status of KCC cases with the agriculture department and at the bank level.The CAO informed that a ‘Simplified Form’ of one page has been provided for coverage of PM- KISSAN beneficiaries under KCC, wherein they have to provide only a copy of the land record document and the crop sown along with the filled up form and approach their bank branch from where they are drawing PM-KISAN benefit, for issue of Kissan Credit Card.The DDC advised the banks to organise special camps and provide a separate window for accepting the forms and sanction KCC limit within shortest possible time, not exceeding 14 days. All line departments, including Agriculture department, will facilitate Dissemination of awareness among all PM KISSAN beneficiaries.
The DDC stressed for 100 percent coverage of farmers under KCC scheme besides directed concerned to clear all the cases awaiting sanction under KCC by maintaining close coordination with banks and revenue officials.The bankers were instructed to adhere to the guidelines to ensure implementation of KCC scheme in letter and spirit across the district as the same is being monitored by the apex level committees on daily basis.The Agriculture department was asked to submit all the cases to the banks before March 15, 2020, while directing for reconcillation of data pertaining to allied departments with the bank.While reviewing the pendency of cases at revenue level, directions were given to all the Tehsildars of the district to clear the same at their end for their.The Lead District Manager assured the DDC that all banks will ensure 100 percent achievement at an earliest.Among others, the meeting was attended by CPO, Cluster head JK bank ,CAHO, GM DIC, Sheep husbandry officer, DDM NABARD, CHO, besides other bank and officials of line departments.
