Manjinder Singh Sirsa President DSGMC  today demanded grant of  citizenship  to Pakistani Migrants Hindu Sikh refugees families living in jhuggis and semi-permanent  structures  in unhygienic conditions on the Yamuna floodplains, south of Gurudwara Majnu Ka Tila.while addressing press conference at historic Gurdwara Majnu Ka Tilla along  with Pakistani Hindu refugee families today ,He  said 60 families have reached in New Delhi from Pakistan from Feb 2 to Feb 16, while 10 families have reached new  a day  ago.He said that total around 160  refuge families living in Delhi should be granted Indian citizenship on priority .He said that majority of the migrant refuge members are  professionally qualified and willing to contribute to growth and  economy of the India .He said that many  of them are anxious to start working in their respective professions  to  resume their daily life activities and requested the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to expediate their  citizenship request is pending with Union Govt . He said that he has spoken  to Union Home Minister Amit Shah in this regard and told that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is very positive to their demand and has already instructed union Home Secreatary  to find out any viable legal alternative to ensure dignified living to these families who has reached India leaving behind their movable and immovable properties in Pakistan  which  has been usurped and illegally taken over by Muslim Goons in Pakistan .He said that migrant refuge Hindu Sikh families young boys and girls have shown their keenness and  commitment to enroll them in Indian Army and Para Military forces to serve the nation and giving befitting reply to enemy Pakistan on border.

He also demanded that their visa conditions be relaxed at the earliest so as they could move in other parts of the country  seeking employement and education avenues to their  children and told that at present their visa is restricted to Delhi or Haridwar which has put restriction on their movement and they are unable to explore avenues and opportunities  in other parts of country.He said that a delegation of these hindu /sikh families will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah Soon to  thank Union Govt  for CAA Bill which has paved  the way  and hope for  persecuted minorities in Pakistan He demanded that these refuge families should be extended all facilities , priviliges and benefits as per international laws  appplicable to refugees to ensure dignified life to them as per international charter .He demanded that Delhi  govt /Civic Agencies should provide opportunities like Kiosk/Teh  Bazari  etc to these families to lessen their dependence on charity organizations and other Govt Agencies .He told that Hindu/Sikhs are persecuted in Pakistan and in flgrant  violation of Human rights the muslim Goons do not allow them to consign hindu dead bodies to flames as per hindu rituals on the basis that it will give foul smell . He said that   young girls are abducted mainly to forced conversion to Islam and added that so far neither adult male or married females are targettted but only young girls even upto age of 12  years are abducted and forcefully converted to Islam .He  said that 53 girls have been abducted and forced to marriage by changing their religion to Islam in last two months in  Pakistan .He said that a young 17 years old  girl Komal Kumari was abducted in Sindh province yesterday and is feared to have been converted to Islam and asked international  agencies to intervene in this case .He said that forced conversion cases of Jagjeet Kaur and Mehak Kumari has not seen ray of light despite of international pressure and hue  and cry across the globe by Humanitarian agencies and international NGO.
