A daylong “Capacity Building-cum-Training Programme on Registrations’’ organized by by the Revenue Department under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Anshul Garg, here today.Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Bashir Ahmad Bhat besides Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and Patwaris of the district attended the programme.Speaking on the occasion, the lauded the efforts of revenue officials especially Patwaris for successfully completing the Jamabandis. He said that the latest Jamabandis submitted by the officials will be incorporated for Registration process.Meanwhile, ACR and ADC Kupwara highlighted the various procedures involved in the registration process of the revenue record and the role of field functionaries in making proper and transparent record of Jamabandis and Girdawaris for their successful registration. They directed the field officials for proper maintenance of Khasra Girdawari and Shajra with correct Shajra Kat so that accurate description of the property is made.On the occasion, a booklet regarding the sequential process involved in Registration of Revenue Record was released and distributed among the revenue officials for ready reference.
