The 10th meeting of State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.The Authority in this meeting has approved 13 project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units involving a total proposed investment of approximately Rs. 440.34 crore and employment potential of about 1025 persons, which shows that the state continues to attract investment despite of overall slowdown in the economy. Besides this, 11 proposals of Investible Projects in manufacturing sector with proposed investment of Rs. 249.50 crore in Kangra, Sirmour, Bilaspur, Solan, Una and Shimla have also been approved.New proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of M/s Schott Kaisha Private Limited, Village Kunjhal, Tehsil Baddi, District Solan, for manufacturing of Glass Ampoules and Glass Vials, M/s Vacxigen Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd, Chambaghat, District Solan, for manufacturing of Vaccines, M/s Frontier Alloy Steels Ltd Unit-II, Village Kunja, Tehsil Paonta Sahib, District Sirmour for manufacturing of Railway Components Investment Casting, Railway Rubber Products, M/s Metrocraft, Village Bhatolikalan, Tehsil Baddi, District Solan, H.P. for setting up of industrial unit for manufacturing of Ointment, M/s Prosperity Drugs Pvt. Ltd. Bhatoli Kalan, Tehsil Baddi, District Solan, H.P. for manufacturing of Pharmaceutical Formulations, M/s Amar Hi Tech Engineering Industry Pvt. Ltd. Unit-II, I.A. Kandrori,Tehsil Indora, District Kangra for manufacturing of Revolvers, Pistols, Rifles and Grenade Launchers, M/s Great Himalayan Farm Fresh Village Prei, Kangra for processing of Milk, Apple, Pear, Plum, Potato, M/s NIJJER PHYTOCHEM, Singhan, Tehsil Haroli, District Una for manufacturing of Red Beet Powder, Carrot Powder, Tomato Powder, Chilli Paste, Peprica, Lycopene, M/s Amigo Food and Beverages, Jeetpur Baheri Industrial Area, Plot 16-1, Jeetpur Baheri Industrial area, Amb, Una for manufacturing of Hot Filled Aseptic Juice and M/s Him Valley Foods, Jeetpur Baheri Industrial Area, Plot 16-II, Una for manufacturing of Potato Wafer, Puffed and Mixed Snacks.Expansion proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of M/s Ambuja Cements Ltd- Unit-Suli & Unit Rauri, Tehsil Arki, District Solan H.P. for manufacturing of Clinker & Power Generation and M/s RSA Technitex, Village Moginand, Kala Amb, Tehsil Nahan, District Sirmour, H.P. for setting up of industrial unit for manufacturing of Non Woven Fabrics.Director Industries Hansraj Sharma conducted the proceedings of the meeting.Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Chief Secretary Anil Kumar Khachi, Additional Chief Secretary Industries Manoj Kumar, Principal Secretary Revenue Onkar Sharma, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sanjay Kundu, MD HPSEBL J.P. Kalta and other senior officers attended the meeting.
