DDC Bandipora visits Polytechnic college, inspects ongoing work

District Development Commissioner Bandipora Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza today visited Polytechnic College Bandipora to take stock of ongoing construction works.The DDC was accompanied by Deputy General Manager JKPCC, Executive Engineer PDD, Principal Polytechnic College and other concerned.During the visit DDC enquired about the progress made on the construction of main building including classrooms and labs. He inspected the ongoing work of two storied building which is being constructed on 66 kanals of land at a cost of Rupees 13 crore.The DGM JKPCC informed that the work on main building is at final stages of completion and will be completed by ending March.The DDC directed the revenue department to carry out the demarcation process afresh and asked for early completion of fencing and approach road.The DDC asked principal polytechnic to shift the college expeditiously after taking over new building from the executing agency.On the occasion Mirza said that the college has an important role in producing professionals having requisite skills and technical training to meet the market requirement.
