Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament, met Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.Sh. Sharma shared with the Lt Governor his concerns regarding the damages to the crops across the agricultural belt of Jammu due to untimely rains and hail storms after conducting a tour of the affected areas and taking the first hand assessment of situation yesterday.He apprised the Lt Governor about the immediate need of conducting the field assessment of damages to crops so that immediate succor can be provided to the affected population.The Lt Governor assured Sh. Sharma that the administration will take every possible step to mitigate the problems of all those affected by the untimely rains. He further urged Sh. Sharma to continue his endeavors for the growth and advancement of the public welfare.
