Deputy Director Information (Audio/Visual), Rakesh Dubey today paid a visit to the District Information Centre Rajouri to inspect the day to day working of the centre. He also interacted with the officials of the DIC who briefed him about the functioning of the centre.He checked the availability of the essential items required for the proper functioning of the centre including public address system. He also checked the important registers like press cutting, attendance register and newspaper register. He also inspected the cultural unit and establishment section.District Information Officer apprised the Deputy Director that there is immediate requirement of PAS and other items for strengthening the cultural unit. He assured them that he will take up the matter with Director Information J&K for early redressal of their issues.He asked the officials to work with proper dedication and make concerted efforts in the direction of further strengthening the department. He said that DIPR is instrumental in dissemination of all vital information regarding government working and programmes needs to be strengthened at all levels so as to make it a vibrant entity in the world of knowledge and information.
