Day 5 of Back to Village-2 : Series of dev activities held in Anantnag

On the 5th day of ‘Back to Village’ Programme (B2V2), series of activities were carried out in 110 Panchayat Halqas of 04 blocks namely Bijbehara, Dachnipora, Khowripora and  Pahalgam of Anantnag district today.Visiting Officers took stock of the status of works done in B2V1 June this year. They heard the demands of the public with regard to power,  water, roads, healthcare, education, agriculture, horticulture, KCC, Soil Health Cards, changing of HT/LT Network, issuance of Golden Cards for left outs, ration cards and  development of basic infrastructure.Assistant Commissioner Development Anantnag, Mohammad Aslam and DPO Anantnag, Ab Rasheed along with BDOs visited various areas  including Lidderwath, Lanaganbal, HSS Bijbehara, GDC Bijbehara, HSS Sirigufara, HSS Sallar and HS Budroo, where B2V2 programmes were conducted.General public, officers  from line departments participated in the programme. The concerned visiting officers heard the demands and issues related to overall development and assured that their  genuine demands and issues will be addressed at the earliest.The concerned officers created awareness about the welfare schemes and developmental programmes including  PM KISSAN, PMK MANDHAN, Jal Shakti Abhiyan, Ayushman Bharat, Ujwala Scheme, Atul Pension Yojna, ISSS, PMEGP, marriage Assistance, Ladli Beti  and other  welfare  schemes. The Visiting Officers asked the general public to come forward and take advantages of the centrally and state sponsored schemes for which government has taken an  initiative to address the problems and issues of the villagers at their doorsteps. They also said that most of the issues and demands raised in B1V1 held in June, 2019 have been  incorporated.
