Back to Village 2 starts in 79 panchayats across Doda

The ambitious Back to Village phase II today commenced here with the Designated Officers visiting 79 panchayats on day 1 of the programme.The Visiting Officers convened Gram Sabhas in their assigned Panchayats and deliberated upon several issues concerning the development and welfare of rural populace. They had a detailed feedback about the phase I of the Back to Village programme.The visiting officers unveiled Public information board to the public and readout the charter of fundamental duties. The report card of B2V-1 and critical gap analysis report was also discussed. They distributed information flyers among the participants on individual beneficiary schemes, issued job card, inaugurated PMAY houses.Meanwhile, the frontline workers of various departments highlighted their departmental schemes before the general public and PRIs.The designated officers visited local institutions including schools, AWCs, healthcare institutions etc. besides conducting interaction with the locals, PRIs, Frontline workers and prominent citizens to discuss and deliberate upon the core issues concerning development of the area.
